Future Reflection of Me

Occupation
The job I want to have when I grow up is to be a professor of physics. In my job, I have to discover or extend on different equations while teaching students about physics. The place I would preferably work in would be a classroom but also my own lab so I can do my own experiments and research. My starting annual salary would be around $60 000 which means I would earn about $20.5 on an hourly basis. I wouldn’t have any commissions but I would have bonuses if I discovered something new or if I created something. Also, I would have more responsibilities depending on my seniority but my main ones would be to create, complete and analyze experiments which I would later publish. I would also have to learn how to handle complex instruments.

Education/ Qualifications To be a research scientist, you need to go to a university ( the University of Toronto is the best University ) so you can get a Bachelor's Degree of Sciences. This would cost around $10 700 - $12 700 for 1 year. After I get a Bachelor’s, I would need to get a Master’s Degree ( about $12 500 a year ) and finally a PhD ( about $5 500 a year ) in chemical physics which would give me more pay and experience.

Family
When I become a physicist, I would still live with my parents and maybe a pet dog ( Husky ). Also, I’d stay single but I’d adopt a child so I can teach him, take care of him and he would give my parents some company.

Residence & Transportation When I become a physicist, I would still live here, in Brampton, ON. The house I would live in is the same house ( a single one unit house ) but my work would most likely occur in Toronto ( about 50 km away ). Because of where my job might take place, I would use the transit to get to work but I’d have 1 car which would be the 2017 Impala Premier for $41 520.

Leisure Time/Community In my spare time, I would be either be looking after my parents and brother, playing baseball, playing video games, doing research on random things or I’d read books.
